The Internship Office is part of Economics & Management at the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and as such maintains close contacts with the business community. Practical elements are given an important place in this study programme, and our students complete a variety of practical assignments during their studies. This gives them beneficial opportunities to put their competences to use in professional practice.
This website provides information about the various forms of practical education the HU provides (internships, practical work, graduation and other projects) which might be of interest to you. It explains what students are expected to learn and the kinds of assignments you can give them. A schematic overview profiles all possible forms of this practical training. You can also register here if you wish to offer internships and / or practical assignments. Click on the programme title for more information on that programme.
The Internship Office is the coordinating body to which you, the employer, can direct any questions you may have with regard to the execution and supervision of internships, as well as the organisation of other forms of cooperation between the HU and the business community. These other forms of cooperation might include, for instance, the organisation of networking days, the provision of project assignments, input for case studies, guest lectures, in-company visits or in-house days, open days, or the sponsorship of certain programme components.
The Internship Office maintains an internal internship vacancy website for students of Economics & Management. If you wish to offer an internship position, please make use of the vacancy form (see "Publicizing Internship Vacancies").
